The flavor of traditional culture

Traditional culture, like selfless sunshine, is inexhaustible, and it moistens everyone's heart like a silent river. But no matter what kind of culture, there must be some progress and some backwardness. Therefore, even when learning our own traditional culture, we should take its essence and discard its dross.

First, traditional culture has many disadvantages. Because our traditional culture was established in our slave society or feudal period, it inevitably has class color and institutional disadvantages that are difficult to wash. Even our sage Confucius supports the restoration of slave society, and his ideal is to build a society with clear hierarchy and self-stability, which is definitely unacceptable to us. The other is Zhu, whose mechanics thinks that we should restrain nature and desire, which is contrary to our social ideal.

Second, traditional culture is worth learning. I don't know which culture can't be completely divorced from our own traditional culture, because that is our root and our source. The makeup we all wear is quietly similar to the principle of being a man and doing things. For example, the ancients often said that people should be benevolent, courteous, wise and trustworthy, which is out of date in today's society. Ceng Zi also has three provinces, which can be imitated in our study, work and getting along with others.

Third, traditional culture appeals to both refined and popular tastes. If you wear cold clothes, some are elegant and some are vulgar. For example, the most vulgar is the noisy bridal chamber, and there are some unreasonable wedding etiquette that still exists today. There are often reports of family breakdown due to some unpleasantness on the wedding day. In addition, some elegant cultures are disappearing, such as our tea ceremony. We haven't studied the tea ceremony in China seriously for a long time, so that the whole world accepted the Japanese tea ceremony, but forgot that China was the pioneer of the tea ceremony. Therefore, when learning traditional culture, we must keep our eyes open and study selectively.
