How to make an axe

Axes are made of wood and iron.

First of all, the machine pushes a round steel into the induction furnace, and the high temperature makes the round steel white and elastic, which is convenient for stretching and setting. Then the machine puts the round steel into a series of dies, presses it into the shape of an axe, and cuts off the excess parts. This is a factory that specializes in manufacturing axes. Then put the red-hot axe on the turntable for half an hour until it cools and hardens. Next, the workers put more than a dozen axes into the shot blasting machine at one time. Here, these axes will be polished with oxide skin on their surfaces, thus becoming smooth and bright.

Second, the workers polished the edges and corners of the axe on the rotating grinding wheel until the blade of the axe became as thin as cicada's wings. Then these shafts are thrown into a special solution at 800 degrees Celsius, and then cooled quickly. This quenching process will harden the axe blade. Next, the workers manually arranged 36 aprons on the machine to build the handle of the axe. The handle of the axe coated with lubricating oil is inserted into the apron, and the hydraulic oil just drives the axe through all the aprons and compresses them until these aprons become the handle of the axe.

Third, in the next step, the axe keeps spinning on the machine, and the sandbags are polished close to the leather. Workers change different sandpapers until the leather is smooth and soft, and then put these axes into special paint to make the leather appear natural texture. When the paint solidified, the workers finished polishing the exposed steel. It only takes two days to make a sharp and easy-to-use axe, which is really fast. The axe made can be used for logging, chopping wood and so on.
