Steel Structure Construction Process

Steel column installation

1. Due to the large weight and long length of the steel columns, it is impossible to fabricate and transport the columns at one time. Therefore, it is proposed to adopt the method of fabricating the steel column in two sections, assembling it as a whole on site and then lifting it. The steel column is transported to the site in two sections: the lower lattice section and the upper H-type steel column. The weight of the steel column is about 6 tons and the height of the position is about 17 m. 50 tons car crane can meet the lifting requirements and 25 tons car crane is used for lifting.

2. Lifting adopts single machine rotary lifting. Before lifting, a wooden square is padded at the foot plate of steel column to prevent the foot plate of steel column from being damaged in the lifting process. When lifting the steel column, the crane should lift the hook, rotate the crane arm to make the steel column vertically off the ground, and put the steel column into the cup.

Steel structures must be cleaned and maintained regularly. Under normal circumstances, they need to be inspected and maintained once a year. When cleaning the exterior of a steel structure, care must be taken not to have a mess. Abrasive cleaning products such as steel balls and brushes should not be used. They should be rinsed with water from top to bottom.

Tree branches, leaves and other similar objects on the steel structure plant should be cleaned up in time to avoid unnecessary trouble caused by accumulation. If the surface of metal plate of steel structure plant is damaged, it should be repaired in time to prevent sunshine and rain from corroding the surface of metal plate. If necessary, all the coated high elasticity nanomaterials are used to protect the metal roof panel, which plays an effective role of heat insulation and waterproofing, thus saving the energy of indoor air conditioning.
