How to establish the concept of integrity

The basic meaning of the word "integrity" is to be consistent, not lying, trustworthy, and to keep one's word. Current theories generally believe that integrity contains economic, ethical, legal three levels of content, moral integrity refers to the truthful personality character and words must be credible, behavioral norms; economic level of integrity refers to the economic activities of credibility, truthfulness, no deception, to fulfill the obligations of the contract, the economic responsibility of the market norms and ethical constraints; legal level of integrity refers to the legislation, justice, the weight of the evidence, truthfulness, and the spirit of the legislation and judicial behavior of the law. According to the view of historical materialism, the sense of integrity belongs to the superstructure, and its content must be adapted to the needs of the economic base. However, it goes without saying that our traditional view of integrity is based on the natural economy and the feudal family ethical culture linked by blood and geographic ties, and is a moral concept centered on character and based on personal cultivation. This view of integrity is incompatible with the socialist market economy of openness and freedom, the need for equal competition. The author believes that only in line with the economic laws and the real social needs of the integrity of the view is realistic, based on the Marxist position of seeking truth from facts, emancipation and advancing with the times of the integrity of the view is in line with the national conditions of the primary stage of socialism in China, facing the development of China's socialist market economy and the characteristics of the times, the integrity of the view is in line with the reality of China. That is to say, the Chinese reality integrity concept should be based on the Marxist position of the Chinese traditional integrity culture of critical inheritance.
