Road traffic regulations

Article 53 Towing of motor vehicles shall be subject to the following provisions:

(2) When towing at night with a soft connection, reflective markers shall be placed on the towing device;

Article 54 Driving a test vehicle on the road shall comply with the following provisions:

(1) Driven by a driver who has obtained a motor vehicle driver's license for more than three years;

(2) The test vehicle shall be driven in accordance with the time and route designated by the traffic management department of the public security organs;

(3) No person unrelated to the test vehicle shall be allowed to ride on the vehicle;

Article 55 On a road with more than two motor vehicle lanes in the same direction, in case of a major event or an emergency mission, the traffic management department of the public security organs may designate one of the motor vehicle lanes as an emergency lane and set up a clear sign. Police cars, fire engines, ambulances, engineering rescue vehicles in the performance of emergency tasks, you can drive in the emergency lane, other motor vehicles shall not drive in the emergency lane.

Article 56 Due to special circumstances need to pass or stop motor vehicles in restricted or prohibited areas or road sections, shall be agreed by the public security organs of the traffic management department, and in accordance with the time, route and location specified in the temporary permit to pass or stop.

Article 57 Driving a non-motorized vehicle shall comply with the following provisions:

(1) Passing through intersections controlled by traffic signals, and passing through in time when there is a signal to release the vehicle, and shall not linger or slow down in the intersection;

(2) Not stopping and lingering in the carriageway or riding side by side with more than three persons;

Article 58 Pedestrians shall abide by the following provisions:

(1) They may not enter a highway, urban expressway or other closed motor vehicle lane;

(2) They may not cross, straddle or lean on road-isolating facilities;

(3) They may not pickpocket, chase after, forcibly stop, or chase each other on the road;

(4) They may not engage in peddling, sending articles or soliciting property on the carriageway and other acts that obstruct traffic safety.

Article 59 Riders shall not carry inflammable and explosive dangerous objects; shall not throw objects out of the vehicle; and shall not engage in behavior that affects the safe driving of the driver.
