Geomantic geography knowledge 1 Introduction to Geomantic Geography
The word feng shui can be interpreted in two ways. One is in a broad sense, referring to the nearby natural environment such as space, mountains, water and trees. For example, the feng shui here is really good. It is really a treasure trove of feng shui. One is narrow sense, especially yin house (ancestral grave) and yang house (housing). For example, doing feng shui, your feng shui is good, and so on. Feng Shui will change with the change of time and space, and there is no fixed place for Feng Shui. The so-called rich get the land, and the land gets rich.
On the earth, what is the largest substance, that is, wind, water and soil. What is the most basic substance for human existence? It is also wind (gas), water and land. Therefore, Mr. Xu Chao has repeatedly stressed that please don't forget the "land" when talking about Feng Shui. On the earth, except for the matter from celestial bodies, almost all matter is all things, including human beings. It can be seen that the ancient geomantic omen refers to all the substances on the earth, and geomantic omen is a theory to study the microscopic substances (air, water and soil) and the macro environment (heaven and earth) on which human beings depend for survival and development. According to the ancients' cognition, except land and water, everything else is space, and there is only wind in space. The ancients believed that wind, space and sky were linked. The wind in Feng Shui is not only air, but also space and sky. The word feng shui originated in Fuxi era. According to the simple map developed by Taihao Fuxi, it is inferred that the earth has a period of geomantic omen. "Su Wen Classic" records: "Yan Di said: one fog, two geomantic omen, three landscapes, four hills, five rivers, six rivers, seven small rivers, eight water shortages and nine water shortages." The feng shui referred to here should be the original meaning of feng shui. Laozi said: one life two, two lives three, three lives everything. One is the sky, so there will be water one day, one is the earth, the third is what, and the third is water. Translate this sentence of Laozi: Nature is aquatic in heaven and earth, and everything in heaven and earth is aquatic.
Introduction points of geographical geomantic omen
One: Look at the sky.
The influence of cosmic stars on people. The ancients paid great attention to the influence of the sun, the moon and the stars on human beings, mainly in the aspects of lighting, vertical orientation and date selection in Feng Shui.
The four seasons of Yuanyun are all formed by the cycle of stars, so there is no doubt that the movement of celestial bodies affects people. The so-called integrity is heaven, and the tunnel is also. Where there is genius and land, there is water and everything. Observing the sky, understanding the sky, the sky coming up, the earth downloading, the image in the sky, the formation in the earth, and choosing the place of Feng Shui according to the stars have become the most primitive and basic knowledge in Feng Shui.
China's summer calendar, which was formed thousands of years ago, and the lunar calendar, which is still in use today, all have important contributions from Feng Shui masters. It is also a very important method in Feng Shui to predict human censure according to the phenomena in the starry sky.
Seven houses and four surpluses, taking turns on duty. Tianxing also has a series of programs in time, mainly in Tianxing's bird performance day class.
Second: identify the quality.
The quality of wind (air), water, ground (soil) and its influence on people. This is the foundation of geomantic omen.
The wind here refers to the air that people breathe, the water that people eat, the source water, the soil for growing crops and acupoints. Because air, water and soil are the most basic substances for human survival, if the quality of wind (air) is not good, the water quality is not good and the soil quality is not good, it will cause diseases and bring disasters to human beings. I don't think anyone will deny this.
Ancient geomantic omen mainly expected to measure air quality by smelling air, water quality by tasting fish and soil quality by kneading soil.
Snow Cloud: The lush grass and thick soil are one of the ways to measure the quality of Feng Shui according to its use. This method is introduced in Yi Futang's Ten Methods of Positive Anger.
In ancient times, science and technology were underdeveloped, so feng shui masters should use primitive methods such as seeing, smelling, tasting, kneading and weighing to identify the quality of feng shui land. Today, with the development of science, Feng Shui experts still cling to these simple methods, do not keep pace with the times, do not innovate tools, and do not use scientific instruments to measure air quality, water quality and soil quality. Some people even turn a blind eye to these basic principles. If we give up these simple methods, I think those geomantic sages will be furious and scold us if they are in the spirit of heaven.
Three: look at the shape.
The influence of the appearance and emotion of geomantic land on people. The wind referred to here is both air and space. Water is ditches, streams, rivers, lakes and oceans accumulated by water. Land is a ridge formed by soil accumulation. Later, feng shui experts called the mountain directly behind the location (acupoint) of Yin and Yang's home as dragon, and the other mountains as sand.
In the process of human reproduction, governing the country and ensuring the people, marching and fighting, it is found that it is very important to observe the sky, survey the landform, understand the terrain and distinguish the geology, which is related to the rise and fall of human beings, the long-term stability of the country and the success or failure of the war, so the original geomantic geography theory was formed.
Four: take a breath.
The effect of qi in the land of geomantic omen on people. There is an invisible and intangible qi between the three, which is not air, but something that can only be understood, expressed and measured by a compass, which circulates, gathers, breeds and embodies from the space of heaven, earth and mountains. Qi can be divided into auspicious qi and fierce qi. Only by understanding this kind of qi, accepting it and abandoning fierceness can we reach the highest state of Feng Shui. Therefore, riding the wind is the top technology of Feng Shui.
