How to choose a novice fishing rod

Then how can I determine the length of my first pole? We can search some local fishing QQ groups and ask the fishing friends in the group how long it usually takes. You can also go directly to the nearby fishing point to see how long the rod used by fishermen is; If you want to choose a common length, then we recommend 4.5 meters. Basically, all outdoor ponds, reservoirs, rivers, lakes and black pits can be applied. When we fish for a period of time, we will naturally know which lengths of rods need to be supplemented.

Hand poles are generally divided into stream poles and platform fishing poles. The stream rod is very short after contraction, and the platform fishing rod is very long after contraction. If it is convenient to carry when going out fishing at ordinary times, and the fishing frequency is not much, it is recommended to choose a floating rod, which is about 70CM after contraction, and it is convenient to carry. If you often go out fishing and catch a wide variety of fish, including big fish and small fish, in this case, it is recommended to choose the right fishing rod. Generally, fishing in large waters such as reservoirs should be equipped with at least 5.4 meters of hand poles. If you often fish in small waters such as wild ponds and rivers, a 3.6-meter 4.5-meter hand pole is enough.

Second, the material of fishing rod (carbon rod is recommended)

At present, most fishing rods are carbon rods, which can be divided into low carbon and high carbon. The higher the carbon content, the lighter, harder and harder the rod is. However, the price is also high. The higher the carbon content, the more brittle the pole is. If used improperly, it is easy to break the pole.

Carbon fiber material is the core material for processing fishing rods-carbon fiber cloth, which is divided into several grades, below 30T, 30-40t, 40-60t, 60-80t and so on. T (ton) is the index of carbon fiber. Some poles are marked with "HVF", which means carbon fiber cloth, with strength of 30T——40T and high modulus. SVF(VCF)T refers to 40——60T and TCF refers to 60——80T. The higher the t value, the higher the strength and elasticity of the material. Taking 60T as an example, it means that the maximum tensile force per unit area of carbon fiber cloth with different carbon content is 60T, that is, the static tensile force of a square centimeter of carbon fiber cloth is not less than 60t. The higher the tonnage, the stronger the bearing capacity of the fishing rod made of carbon fiber cloth. The carbon content of fishing rod refers to the proportion of carbon fiber in the carbon fiber cloth used to make fishing rod, not the carbon content of the whole fishing rod. Simply put, it is the distribution density of carbon fiber.

Three. Matters needing attention in selecting fishing rod

1. First look at whether the paint surface outside the pole is smooth, whether there are bulging bubbles, or where the paint surface is uneven due to impurities. You can feel it with your hands. Then look at whether the mouth of each power-saving pole is neat and the wall thickness is uniform. It should be noted that you should look back and forth.

2. Pull out the pole section by section, and then gently shake the pole to see if there is any abnormal sound. If there is, it means that there is a gap in an interface and the lap joint is not tight. After checking which festival it is, make a tight circle and shake it gently. If this phenomenon still occurs, you can't buy it at a low price. Because the design of this pole is flawed, it increases your chances of breaking the pole and running away.

3. Open the back plug of the rod to see if the rod wall is even. If the pole wall is obviously uneven, it means that there is something wrong with the quality of the pole. This kind of fishing rod breaks easily when fishing.

Fourth, the tonality choice of fishing rod

Our common tonality is 37, 28; If it is a recreational wild fishing, you can choose a 37-tone fishing rod if you like a thin rod; If you like hard rods, want to play competitive games, catch fast fish, and fish directly below 1 kg, you can choose a 28-tone fishing rod.

Five, other matters needing attention in fishing

Besides fishing rods, we also need to buy fishing lines, hooks and floats. I'll explain them to you later.
