When I was a child, the New Year was lively, but now the taste of the year is getting weaker and weaker. Why?
For me after 90, I was very much looking forward to the New Year when I was a child. Because the arrival of the new year means holidays, new clothes and delicious food? In addition, when I was a child, I would go back to my hometown with my parents and other relatives every New Year? Squeeze? In my grandparents' small home. When I lived in my grandparents' house, because there were not enough beds, I directly paved the floor, and then a group of people crowded together to play cards, eat and chat, and then slept together. What's more, when I was a child, I would watch the Spring Festival party with my family, then stay up until twelve o'clock and start setting off firecrackers. When I was young, firecrackers were set off for a long time.
Compared with when I was a child, I still get together for dinner, but my interest in dinner is not as good as before. The reason for this is that compared with childhood, today's living standards have improved several times. With the improvement of living standards, many precious foods in childhood are no longer precious, and it is no longer necessary to wait until the big day like Chinese New Year to eat them. If you eat more at ordinary times, the New Year's Eve dinner will no longer be special, and your interest will naturally decrease. In addition, the improvement of living standards also makes it meaningless to wear new clothes when I was a child until the Spring Festival. Nowadays, few people will buy a new dress until the Spring Festival. Nowadays, I usually buy it if I want, and wear it when I buy it.
Another reason why the taste of the year is getting weaker and weaker is that fireworks and firecrackers are now banned in many places. The custom of setting off firecrackers during the Spring Festival has existed since the Spring and Autumn Period, and China people are used to celebrating and highlighting the excitement during the Spring Festival in this way. However, due to the ban on fireworks and firecrackers, crackling firecrackers can no longer be heard in many places during the Chinese New Year, and the lively atmosphere that should have existed during the Chinese New Year is greatly reduced.
With the continuous development of the times, foreign cultures have more and more influence on us, so we also celebrated Valentine's Day and Christmas. After being distracted by these festivals, the attention left to traditional festivals in China naturally decreases. In this way, our inheritance of traditional culture will also be affected, and some traditional customs will be gradually ignored during the Chinese New Year, leading to the gradual weakening of the flavor of the year.
