Friend, I'm a surgeon. The suture removal time is different in different parts of the operation. Usually, the head, face and neck are 5 days, the chest is 8- 10 days, the upper abdomen is 8-9 days, the middle and lower abdomen is 6-8 days, the groin is 6 days and the limbs are 9- 12 days. However, with different incisions and different tension, the time of thread removal may change. For example, it takes 12- 14 days to take out stitches.

When removing stitches, there is a feeling of ants gnawing, which is not very painful.

After removing stitches, the incision should not be soaked in water for 2 days, and it needs to be covered with dressing. After suture removal, the incision near the joint can't move violently, and the intensity and scope of the activity should gradually increase.
