Is it useful to practice China Wushu routines and fighting?
Traditional Wushu routines, such as Nanquan, are derived from these routines when performing. There are Sanshou in the routines of Dragon Boxing and Wing Chun Boxing. Usually when practicing routines, more emphasis is placed on practicing Sanshou. These Sanshou are different from modern Sanda and are used in actual combat, with no rules or restrictions.
Therefore, there is no actual combat in practicing martial arts routines. It is useless to practice simple martial arts routines, no matter how skilled they are. It is not that these routines are useless in fighting, but that the moves in the routines are not applied to sparring and actual combat, which leads to the uselessness of routines in fighting.
