Door frame installation steps

This paper will introduce the installation steps of door frames to help readers better understand the installation methods of door frames.

Measure size

Measure the thickness of the customer's wall, the width and height of the door opening, and then measure the length of the top frame and border of the finished door frame. The top frame covers the top of the two frames, and the inner width between the two frames should be 6mm larger than the width of the door leaf, and the inner height between the top frame and the ground should be 13mm higher than the height of the door leaf. After confirmation, connect the top frame with the frame, put it in the doorway, and reserve hanging feet.

Stamping fixation

The electric hammer is aimed at the slot of the long frame, and nail holes are reserved to punch holes in the wall. The depth and width of the hole should be adapted to the size of the matching expansion screw, and the expansion screw should be nailed firmly. When fixing the door frame, the long frame must be hung with messenger wire, and whether the long frame and the top frame form a 90-degree angle.

Install the door leaf

When installing the door leaf, use 1 screw to fix it up and down, check whether the door leaf size is appropriate, whether the door leaf and the door frame can be opened and closed freely, and then install the required screws after confirmation.

Check and adjust

Fasten the door thread initially (but don't brush white latex, adjust the angle to prevent it). Ensure that the door leaf and door frame are installed accurately, then remove the door wire, brush it with white latex and reinstall it. If the door line is not very firm during installation (the glue is not dry yet), you can use double sharp nails to assist the connection. After the door lock is installed, pay attention to a comprehensive inspection, whether the door leaves are flexible and whether the joints are in compliance.

Line installation

The installation of wires depends on the width of walls and doorframes. For example, if the wall is narrower than the frame, the wide side of the line can be placed against the wall; For example, if the frame is narrower than the wall, on the other hand, nail strips can be taken out from both sides of the line and the line can be covered back after being fixed with nails.
