Which cells can produce antibodies?
Plasma cells mainly exist in connective tissue of digestive tract and lamina propria of respiratory tract. The cells are small, round or ovoid, with a round nucleus but biased to one side of the cell, and thick chromatin, which is arranged radially in a wheel shape along the nuclear membrane.
The cytoplasm is basophilic and dyed blue. There is a bright and transparent area near the nucleus. Under electron microscope, it can be seen that the cytoplasm contains a large number of dense rough endoplasmic reticulum, and the lightly stained area is where Golgi complex is located. Plasma cells are derived from B cells.
Extended data:
Plasma cell morphology:
The diameter of plasma cells is10-20μ m; The nucleus is small, accounting for less than 1/2 of the cell, mostly leaning to one side, and occasionally having two nuclei; Chromatin is thick, piled up, often dyed lavender, uneven, and often extends out of a half-moon pale staining area near the nucleus; Occasionally there are bubbles or bubbles in the pulp.
The diameter of protoplasm cell is 65438 04-20μ m; The nucleus is large, accounting for about 2/3 of the cells, round or oval, often leaning to one side; Chromatin is fine, granular, evenly dispersed or fine mesh. 2-5 nucleoli, light blue, not obvious.
The cytoplasm is more than other primitive cells, dark blue, opaque, light color near the nucleus, no granules, and occasional vacuoles. Primitive plasma cells are rarely seen in normal bone marrow, and only in multiple myeloma and plasma cell leukemia can they exist in large numbers and have morphological variation. Antibody is an immunoglobulin, which can specifically bind to antigen.
1. antibodies can be divided into lectin, sedin, antitoxin, lysin, opsonin, neutralizing antibody and complement-binding antibody according to their reaction forms.
2. According to the source of antibody production, it can be divided into normal antibodies (natural antibodies), such as ABO blood group anti-A, anti-B antibodies, and anti-microbial antibodies and other immune antibodies.
3. According to the source of reactive antigen, it can be divided into heterologous antibody, heterophilic antibody, homologous antibody and autoantibody.
4. According to the agglutination state of antigen reaction, it can be divided into complete antibody IgM and incomplete antibody IgG.
