1. First, place offerings such as food, cutlery, glasses of wine and tea on the graves of your ancestors, and then place three sticks of incense in front of the graves.
2. After making offerings to the god of the earth, burn a piece of yellow paper. Thank him for guarding the graveyard all year round and keeping our ancestors safe.
3. When the incense burns half a pillar, the pre-prepared bills and clothes are burned on the graves of our ancestors. And a little bit of money and belongings are left to be burned on other graves, lest other ghosts go to the ancestral graves to rob the money and clothes when the people leave.
4. After three columns of incense are burned, the offerings are removed and thrown around the cemetery. This custom is called "worshiping the four directions". It means throwing food for distant neighbors who will soon visit the grave to prevent them from snatching food from the ancestors' graves after the grave visitors leave.
