Badminton origin

Badminton originated in Japan in14-15th century.

Modern badminton originated in India and was formed in Britain. From 65438 to 0875, badminton officially appeared in people's field of vision. 1893, the British badminton club developed and the first badminton association was established, which stipulated the venue requirements and sports standards. 1939, the International Badminton Federation adopted the first badminton rules, which all member countries followed.

In 2006, the official name of International Badminton Federation (IBF) was changed to Badminton World Federation (BWF), which became the highest organization of badminton. The highest organization in China is the China Badminton Association, which was established in Wuhan on September 1958+0 1.

More than two thousand years ago, badminton-like sports appeared in China, Indian and other countries. China is called baton, India is called Pune, and western Europe and other countries are called shuttlecock cricket. 1In the 1970s, British soldiers took home Pune games they had learned in India as a pastime after meals and rest.
