1, Xianrenzan: It's a flavor snack produced in Hakka area. Every Lunar New Year, Hakkas have the custom of eating immortal praise, especially adding honey and sprinkling some banana oil into it, which is sweet and refreshing.
2. Shan Zhi Soup: This is a very typical Hakka dish. It mainly consists of three kinds of ingredients: pork liver, pork lean meat and pork belly, with pickles, medlar leaves and some distiller's grains.
3. Meizhou salted chicken: it has a long reputation in Guangdong. The chicken is light yellow in color, salty and fragrant, crisp and tender, rich in flavor and fresh and tender in flesh and blood.
4. Meizhou sufu: one of the three famous dishes in Meizhou, which belongs to typical Hakka cuisine. Sufu actually refers to tofu with meat stuffing. Tofu looks golden on the outside, but it is covered with stuffing such as lean meat or fish.
5. Braised pork with plum: This dish is well-known at home and abroad and is called one of the three treasures of Hakka. The cooked dishes are rotten and fragrant, and the plums have fully absorbed the greasy pork belly and soup. Pork belly also has the fragrance of plums, salty and sweet, fat but not greasy, and tastes softer and mellow.
