Traditional Qiong opera repertoire

Qiong Opera is rich in artistic heritage, and its traditional repertoire is divided into three parts:

First, the literary drama (mainly singing) originated from Yiyang cavity, mixed with Siping and Qingyang cavity, belonging to Qupai system, with developed roll singing and help cavity. For example, there are more than 800 books such as Huaiyin Collection and Pipa Story.

Second, there are more than 400 martial arts dramas (mainly about deeds and fighting), including Eight Immortals' Birthday, Six Kingdoms of Zen, Gu Chenghui, One Knife Meeting, Three Kingdoms, Water Margin, Xue Family Biography, Yang Jiajiang, Romance of Gods, etc.

3. Civilized dramas, also known as fashion cheongsam dramas, have more than 30 repertoires 130, such as National Salvation Movement, Guangdong-Hong Kong General Strike, Empty Valley and Orchid, Heartbroken Grass, Martyrdom of Qiu Jin and Crying.

After liberation, there were more than 1500 ancient costumes and modern dramas arranged, adapted, created and transplanted from other operas. There have also been a number of outstanding plays that have been staged for a long time, such as Poems on Red Leaves, Zhang Wenxiu, Searching for the Academy, Golden Hairpin Dog and so on. These plays have touching stories, easy-to-understand lyrics and rich philosophies.
