Investment casting, also known as lost wax casting, includes wax pressing, wax trimming, tree assembly, slurry dipping, wax melting, molten metal casting and post-treatment. Investment casting usually refers to the casting scheme that a mold is made of fusible materials, several layers of refractory materials are coated on the surface of the mold to make a mold shell, and then the mold is melted and discharged from the mold shell, so as to obtain a mold without parting surface, which can be filled with sand and poured after high temperature roasting. Lost wax casting is to make a wax model of the parts to be cast with wax, and then coat the wax model with mud. This is a clay mold. After the clay mold is dried, it is baked into a ceramic mold. Once baked, all the wax molds melt away, leaving only the ceramic molds. Generally, when making clay molds, there will be a gate, and then molten metal will be poured from the gate, and the required parts will be made after cooling.
