The first China Children's Painting Competition was hosted by Hangzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and undertaken by Hangzhou Artists Association, Hangzhou Youth Activity Center and Academy of Fine Arts of Hangzhou Normal University.

From May to July, 2009, our organizing committee has collected more than 5,000 manuscripts from Shanghai, Heilongjiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, Shandong, Henan, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. When we organize these manuscripts, we see not only the works, but also the children's dreams;
