What's the difference between seal cutting and woodcut?
The seal cutting knife has two edges, while the woodcut knife has only one edge. There is also a kind of seal knife which is made of steel and needs weight. Wooden knives generally use Chinese fir as the handle. In terms of material, the seal cutting knife generally adopts hard steel such as Bai Gang and Wugang, so as to cut into the stone smoothly. The blade is thicker. The wood carving knife is made of soft and elastic steel plate, because it needs to be very sharp to cut wood smoothly without being squeezed too much. This is the basic difference. I hope it helps you.
