The old shop in Yuci ancient town

There are many old shops on the north-south street of Yuci ancient town. These old shops with classical styles of Ming and Qing dynasties and a combination of Chinese and Western styles are still crowded and bustling. Numerous time-honored brands not only retain Yuci's brilliant business history, but also let people see Yuci's prosperous business today.

Dexincheng (grocery store) is one of the old brands opened by the Wang family in Niedian, Yuci City. Founded in the Ming Dynasty, it was originally named Dexin City and later renamed Dexin City.

De Sheng Yuan (Restaurant) was founded in the early years of Qing Qianlong, and it is a famous time-honored brand in Yuci. It is famous for manufacturing and managing the "brain" formulated by Mr. Fu Shan.

Beiqianheng (Cigarette Shop) was founded in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty and is a famous old shop in Shanxi. It was opened by Hu Kai, a tobacco tycoon in Huairen Village, Shanxi Province, and its brands such as "Beisheng" and "Kuitai" have long enjoyed a good reputation. Later, the silk business was increased.

Zhongxinghe (Zhangzhuang) was founded in the early years of Qing Daoguang. Its owner is Shi Zhiyong from Shijiazhuang, Yuci (now Qiao Hu North Village). Its total number is in Zhangjiakou, and there are semicolons in Shanghai, Beijing, Taigu and Yuci. Because of its wide geographical coverage, it had a great influence on the financial circles in Qing Dynasty.

Ruilongyu (Ma Tiedian) was founded by Chang Jia, the king of cars, during the Qing Dynasty. Is an old brand mainly engaged in iron and hemp products, which once enjoyed a high reputation in Yuci.

Juxingshun (Teahouse) in Wangcun is a good firm, which was founded in Qing Dynasty and deals in tea, sugar and groceries. 1922 was reorganized in the form of share collection and named Juxing Shunheji.

Xiehexin Niedian Wang family is the 12th generation descendant, founded in Xianfeng three years (1853), and later renamed Xiehexin Bank.

Hengxingde (Department Store), founded in Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty, is another enterprise of Niedian Wangs in Yuci City, and it is a department store mainly dealing in silks and satins.

Changhong Li (Jindian) was founded in Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty. The Wang family in Niedian manufactures and sells gold and silver jewelry, with semicolons in Taiyuan, Beijing and other places.

Dalonghao (pastry) is an old-fashioned pastry shop, which was founded in the early years of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty. It is run by Xu, and its cakes are a major feature of Yuci.

Ji (Qianzhuang) is a Song firm in Dayi Village. Founded in the 24th year of Guangxu (1898), Dazhangyi was moved to the city. It is the loudest trade name in the "Ji" of the Song family.

Dashengchun (Pharmacy) was founded in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. It was a joint venture of Jia Hao of Wang Du Village in Yuci, Yuan Jia of Yuanwo Village and Jia Hao of Dongshou Village. It is mainly engaged in Chinese medicine retail and Chinese patent medicine processing, and its self-made hawthorn Jianpi pills, Liuwei Dihuang pills and Huanglian Shangqing pills all enjoy high reputation.

Wan Li Heng (Qianbuzhuang) was a Qianbuzhuang opened by Majia in Jiaocheng Village, Yuci during Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. Mainly engaged in loans, deposits, remittances, but also run the business of colored silk fabrics.

Ji Xiang Company (Kerosene Village) is a wholly-owned company established in Kong Xiangxi. 19 16 was founded in Taigu with a semicolon in Yuci. Monopoly underwriting yingya kerosene, shell gasoline, engine oil, but also engaged in foreign alkali, foreign wax, sugar, pigments and other commodities.

Tianyi (clothing store), formerly known as Tianshunnuo. And big and good, 19 18 changed its name to Tianyi Store, which is a famous clothing store opened by Nie Store in Yuci City.

Huiyuan Bank was established in 1920, which was jointly funded by the Zhangjiazu and Dongyang Zhao families. The total number uses semicolons in Taigu, Yuci and Taiyuan, and branches in Tianjin and Hankou. 1940, Huiyuan Bank and Hutchison Bank merged and renamed as "Juyuan Commercial Bank".

Jishengqing (Qianzhuang) was formerly a Yongshengtai firm opened by Wang in Guocun, and was renamed Jishengqing in192/kloc-0. It was an "iron brand" in the heyday of the Song family.

Yiju (Kerosene Village) was established in 1929, and its main shareholder is Zhang. Song signed an underwriting contract with American Mobil Oil Company, introducing Mobil kerosene to Shanxi for the first time and becoming the general agent of Mobil Shanxi.

Guangyunji (Pigment Village) is mainly engaged in wholesale of pigments and groceries. Its original name is Taigu, and its founding date is unknown. It moved to Yuci in the 1920s and 1930s. Business is booming, especially the wholesale of groceries. This is one of Yuci's famous firms.
