What is the workflow of ABS?

The plastic hand board is made of ABS, PC, PMMA and PU. ABS is the most commonly used material for making hand boards. PC and PMMA are used to make transparent parts; PU is the material for making small batch products of silicone mold. ABS is a block, and its density is lower than that of injection-molded ABS. After processing, the internal molecular chain is cut off and broken. Therefore, the hand board made of ABS has low strength and is easy to break. Products that cannot be sold.

The production technology of plastic hand board is CNC machining and silicone mold. There is also a kind called laser rapid prototyping, which has a fast manufacturing speed. But it is not recommended because of poor precision and poor surface quality.

CNC is CNC milling. The tools used are no different from ordinary machining. The difference is that the milling materials are ABS, PC, PMMA and other materials. Three-dimensional data is programmed by NC machining software. Output to CNC machine tools can process the semi-finished products we need. The semi-finished product is polished, painted and electroplated to complete the final sample. Can be compared with regular products. This is the best way to show and verify the appearance and function of the hand board.

The silicone mold is a mold made of silicone rubber; Vacuumizing the interior of the silica gel mold with special equipment; Then inject PU into the silica gel mold, put it into a high-temperature box for curing, and fold the mold to take out the finished product. Parts manufactured by this method have high strength and can be sold as products. Each set of silicone molds can be made of about 100 sets. Too many silicone molds reduce the accuracy. It is a good method for short-term small batch products.
