The appraisal committee, composed of experts from China Academy of Sciences, China Edible Fungi Association and Liaoning Academy of Agricultural Sciences, has always believed that "... this achievement is the leading level of similar research in China", which will bring remarkable economic and social benefits, and it is a major breakthrough that can "serve multiple purposes". The appearance of this production line ended the history that the production of edible fungi in China depended on solid strains, completely eliminated the production mode of thousands of farmers' manual workshops for thousands of years, fundamentally solved the inevitable problems of mixed bacteria pollution, uneven quality and different standards in the production process, brought a fundamental revolution to the edible fungi industry, and initiated a new era of industrialization and standardization of edible fungi in China.
