What are the qualifications for road transport of dangerous goods?

To apply for the operation of road transport of dangerous goods, the following conditions shall be met:

(a) there are special vehicles and equipment that meet the following requirements:

1.5 or more self-owned vehicles;

2. The technical performance of the special vehicle meets the requirements of the national standard "Comprehensive Performance Requirements and Inspection Methods for Operating Vehicles" (GB 18565), and the overall dimensions, axle load and quality of the vehicle meet the requirements of the national standard "Overall Dimensions, Axle Load and Mass Limits for Road Vehicles" (GB 1589), and the technical level of the vehicle meets the requirements of the industry standard "Technical Classification and Evaluation of Operating Vehicles".

3. Equipped with effective communication tools;

4. There is a parking lot that meets the safety requirements and is suitable for the business scope and scale. Where there are special vehicles for transporting toxic, explosive and Class I dangerous goods, they shall also be equipped with special parking areas separated from other equipment, vehicles and personnel, and set up obvious warning signs;

5. Equipped with safety protection, environmental protection and fire control facilities and equipment suitable for the nature of the transported dangerous goods;

6. To transport toxic, explosive, flammable and radioactive dangerous goods, there should be tank cars or vans and special containers, and vehicles should be equipped with driving recorders or positioning systems;

7. The tank of special tank car shall be inspected by the quality inspection department. The tank volume of special tanker for transporting explosive and corrosive dangerous goods shall not exceed 20 cubic meters, and the tank volume of special tanker for transporting highly toxic dangerous goods shall not exceed 10 cubic meters, except tank containers;

8. No more than 10 tons of non-tank-type special vehicles are used to transport toxic, explosive and corrosive dangerous goods.

(2) Having employees who meet the following requirements:

1. The driver of the special car has obtained the corresponding motor vehicle driver's license, and the age is no more than 60 years old;

2. Drivers, loading and unloading managers and escorts engaged in road dangerous goods transportation have passed the examination by the transportation departments of the municipal people's governments with districts where they are located, and obtained corresponding qualification certificates.

(3) Having a sound safety production management system, including safety production operation rules, safety production responsibility system, safety production supervision and inspection system and safety management system for employees, vehicles and equipment.
