For weekday family meals, if you use a steamer to steam rice, the process seems a bit cumbersome; in my personal opinion, to use a steamer to steam rice, should be operated in accordance with the following steps:

a. Selection of high-quality rice soaking

Want to steam rice out of the sweet, but also has a grain by grain feeling, we need to choose a high-quality rice!

The grains and small stones in the rice are removed, and then washed with water, after washing, add water to soak. You don't need much water, just enough to cover the rice.

In this process, let the rice fully absorb the water; then the rice out, dry water ready to steam on the steamer.

Soaked rice, into a clean cage drawer. In order to facilitate the rice, you can lay a layer of dampened gauze on top of the drawer to prevent the rice from staining the drawer.

If you have a bamboo drawer, try to choose this material, because the fragrance of bamboo will also penetrate into the rice with the steam, making the steamed rice more fragrant.
