Example of combining Chinese and Western cultures

There used to be a Chinese couple who worked in the United States for many years and had a child. One day, the child caught a cold and went to the doctor for treatment. The Chinese couple came up with the most traditional Chinese treatment for colds, Gua Sha (刮痧), and the child recovered. The child recovered from the cold and went to kindergarten. The teacher found the child's body covered with "blood marks" and reported to the police. As a result, the court wanted to convict the Chinese couple of "child abuse", but in the end, through the lawsuit, the couple was found not guilty.
