Brown: traditional Chinese color term for the color of brown hair, or tan. Brown is often associated with earthiness, nature, and simplicity. It gives the impression of reliability and good health. Brown (brown is also known as tan, ochre, etc.). Allegorically, in some ways brown is pretty much the opposite color of blue-violet. Brown is often associated with dirt, earth, nature, and simplicity. It gives the impression of reliability, good health and conservatism. On the flip side, it is also considered somewhat undistinguished, but this can be remedied by using brighter colors. The color brown associates with old and time-worn photographs and materials and can be used to create warmth and nostalgia.
