Battle Gyro (Japanese: 爆転シュート ベイブレード), translated as Battle Gyro in Taiwan and Bakugyo Gyro in Hong Kong and Macau, is a Japanese animation and manga, whose manga version was serialized in the early part of the Happy Dragon alibi HERO, and in the late part of the Happy Dragon bi-weekly magazine, which ended with the 16th issue in 2004. The anime version was produced by d-rights and broadcast by TV Tokyo. The story is about a group of children who duel with a gyro containing a "holy beast". It is generally regarded as an anime and manga created by the toy company TAKARA to promote toys (gyros).
