How can a shed keep warm?

Raising chickens is the most important link in chicken production, and it is also the key to the success or failure of raising chickens. In plastic greenhouse, the author used plastic film greenhouse to keep the chickens warm and achieved good results.

In a simple chicken shed, an arched shed with a length of 8 meters, a width of 2.4 meters and a height of 1.5 meters was made. The shed consists of two parts, the upper part is a plastic bracket supported by bamboo pieces, and the lower part is a wooden fence about 25 cm high, which is close to the inner wall of the film. Six heat preservation lamps are evenly hung on the roof. The power supply is controlled at intervals in three ways. Hang an L-shaped thermometer in the center of one end of the shed, 30cm above the ground. Sprinkle a small amount of lime on the ground for disinfection before laying waste straw mats. Both ends are evenly placed in a tray and a water dispenser. Turn on the light 3 hours before hatching (appropriate in summer), and then turn on the film ventilation at both ends regularly every 2-3 hours. When feeding and adding water, just put your hands in from both sides, and people don't have to go into the shed. Chicken manure should be removed in time to keep the chicken bed clean and dry.

The biggest advantage of this heat preservation method for brooding is that it solves the problem of excessive temperature difference between day and night in greenhouse, and chickens are not easy to catch cold and other diseases. Secondly, the materials are convenient to obtain, the investment is low, the production is simple, and the materials can be reused after cleaning. Small area is isolated from the outside world, reducing pollution and disturbing chickens. The site can be freely extended, and the fence can be extended to both sides according to the growth needs. Straw mats have good hygroscopicity, which can keep the house dry and effectively prevent chickens from getting sick. The fence around can make the evaporated water in the shed flow out of the board along the inner wall of the film to prevent the chicks from getting wet. This kind of heat preservation brooding method is also suitable for other birds, so we might as well give it a try.
