What is a neutral phrase?

Neutral phrase is one of the radical phrases. Also known as "centering phrase". See "Partial Positive Phrases".

From the perspective of grammatical function, neutral phrases can not only serve as different sentence components, but also constitute a sentence with a specific mood. For example, in the sentence "the great motherland is prosperous", the definite phrase of the great motherland is the subject part of the sentence. Wolf in the north! -fixed phrases become exclamatory sentences with exclamatory tone.

Attributive phrases, also known as "adverbial phrases", are adverbial phrases with grammatical functions equivalent to adverbial phrases.

The modifier of an attributive phrase is an attribute, and the head word is usually part of speech. Attribute describes or restricts the head word from the aspects of possession, scope, material, form, nature, quantity, use, time and place.

A young man with no beard.

Lao Wang, you are smart.

Fat master.

Grammatical analysis.

Wild animals.

Magnificent mountains and rivers.

Newly-built school building.

Desk.
