A Unique Reading Path

For every teacher, there is a unique reading path, because every teacher's intellectual background, life experience, knowledge accumulation, interests and hobbies are different, and I am no exception.

The barren romantic period

The romantic period of reading has begun from the birth of life, the parents language, surrounding culture, all the initial reading, the story is the most valuable pre-school life nutrients, for my ability to read and the desire to read laid a solid foundation.

My father was an ordinary farmer with a middle school education, and at that time, he was considered a very educated man in our village. When I was a child, my father would tell my brother and me stories from "Sui and Tang Yuyi" before we went to sleep at night, sometimes telling jokes, and sometimes riddles for us to guess, and we listened with great interest.

I have the impression that on weekdays, there are constantly folks with letters from relatives in the field for my father to read and ask him to write back, and he always reads and writes very patiently.

At that time, the family's economic condition was not good, my father bought white paper from the street and copied ancient poems and pasted them on the wall as decoration. I still remember the four words pasted on the center hall are Mao Zedong's "Qinyuanchun - Snow", "Song of Water" - re-entry to Jinggangshan, Su Shi's "Red Cliff Fugue", Yue Fei's "Full River Red", the lower left corner of the wall is also pasted Lu Xun's "Self-Deprecation" in the famous line "cross-eyebrows coldly against thousands of people, bowed down willingly for the children's cattle," and the east and west two walls pasted Su Shi's "The West Forest Wall" and Li Bai's "The West Forest Wall", and the "The West Forest Wall", the "The West Forest Wall". In school, I see which students have a good book, I can not wait to borrow to read, read a lot of comic strips, and some magazines, I remember that the "Golden Boy" especially attracted me, "Essay Guidance Newspaper" and "Elementary School Student Learning Newspaper" is also a very favorite publication I like to read. I remember when I was in the third grade of elementary school, the school organized a composition contest, and I even won the first prize.

After I started junior high school, I got into the habit of writing a diary and taking notes on my reading. The diary records my life and studies, and the notes are excerpts of some beautiful words and phrases, some good articles, as well as some of the small knowledge in life. The task of learning more and more heavy, large books read less, I came into contact with a number of magazines, I remember most clearly is a table with a "Storytelling", the two of us to use the after-school hours of hungry **** with reading. Later, I subscribed to a learning aid publication that I can't remember the name of, as well as "Reading for Secondary School Students", "Math, Science and Chemistry for Secondary School Students" and "Essay Writing", etc. Later, some of Qiong Yao's romance magazines were published. Books read a lot, but against the perfect reading map, I found myself suffering from romantic period of barrenness, on the one hand, the number is not enough, on the other hand, the type of single, Tang poetry and Song lyrics, modern poetry, biographies, historical writings, philosophy and other areas are not involved.

Graduated from teacher training, to teach in elementary school, due to the love of literature, I did not hesitate to choose to teach language. The first year of work, I love to work, and the relationship with the students to deal with very harmonious, outstanding teaching achievements, by the leadership of the appreciation, I also have a special sense of achievement. At that time, the students have subscribed to the "Primary School Students Study Newspaper", each issue of the newspaper in hand, I will lead the children to read together, but also to encourage the children to submit articles, I counseled the students also won the essay contest! After work, I self-study finished all the courses of the college, exposure to Mr. Wei Shusheng's book "homeschooling talk", "classroom teacher work talk", "the Analects of Confucius", "Zhuangzi" and so on.

Five years later, I went to junior high school, because of work needs, changed to teach math, during this period almost no reading.

Three years later, I switched to teaching language again, realizing the narrowness of my own knowledge and feeling apprehensive. In order to make up for it, I began to read famous books related to the teaching materials, such as Qin Wenjun's Boys' Jiali, Girls' Jamei, Bingxin's Flourishing Stars - Spring Water, Gorky's autobiographical trilogy, Childhood, In the Human World, and My University, and Bakin's Home, Spring, Autumn, and so on. I also read the classic books of traditional Chinese culture, such as the Classic of Poetry, The Analects of Confucius, Mencius, The University, The Meanwhile, Zeng Guang Xian Wen, Zhu Zi's Family Trainings, and so on.

When my two children were very young, I bought them a lot of small books and read with them. The children are a little older, I went to the bookstore for a library card, often borrow books, I also often take them to the bookstore, pick their favorite books, and read with them. Both children's language grades are excellent, and their essays are well-written, and both have won prizes in essay contests! When I learned that Mo Yan had won the Nobel Prize for Literature, I read some more of his books.

Later, in the education of children, my family and I have differences, it went to the library to do a library card, to make up for the Chinese and foreign many tutoring books, the realm of the book is very beautiful, but some of the authors of the point of view of the left, I'm a little confused, to the reality of life is also seriously limited, can not be practiced. I once fell into a low point in my life, caught in the vortex of negative emotions, I suspected that I had depression, and began to read psychology and inspirational books in an attempt to save themselves, but the lack of thinking, the result is that the more I read, the more confused I became, and my heart was in great pain. I once made a wish that if one day I stopped being a teacher, I would become a psychiatrist.

I know I have a lot of knots in my heart that I don't open, so I consulted with people in the industry, and after work, I went to a psychological institution in Nanyang City to participate in the study, and I got a certificate of the National Third Grade Counselor. I thought that I would be able to get my hands on the certificate, but I realized that I still have a lot of confusion in my heart. Later, I followed professional teachers to study y and explore inwardly. During this period, I read Zhang Defen's spiritual trilogy: "Meet Your Unknown Self", "Meet Your Brand New Self", "Meet the Self Who Wants Things to Happen", and some of Bi Shumin's books: "The Seven Games of the Heart", "The Red Prescription", "The Female Psychologist", "Saving the Breasts", "The Feeling of Ascending to the Heavenly Halls", "Lies on the Diagnostic Chair", and "Zero Limit", etc., and my life is slowly seeing the light of day.

After the study, I know that my own childhood trauma, do not want to let the students hurt, on the work of extra care of the student's mind, graciousness has more than enough, not enough harsh, spare time volunteers to serve as a mental health counseling for all students, identity dislocation, so that I feel the knowledge reserve in the teaching is not enough, the force is not able to do, and the teaching results lag behind.

I also want to break through, and read Mr. Wei Shusheng's "classroom teacher's work", "teaching work", Li Zhenxi teacher's "do the best teacher", Sukhomlinsky's "advice to teachers", I am especially yearning for the beautiful realm depicted in the teachers' books, especially want to be a good teacher, on their own work to practice, but the content of the books half-understood, excessive

Later, when my job was in crisis, I almost collapsed, and my son, who was in junior high school, stayed home from school. I can only continue to learn, constantly improve themselves, improve themselves.

So, I reread Mr. Zhou Hong's "Appreciation of the universe", Ms. Yin Jianli's "good mother is better than a good teacher", "the most beautiful education is the most simple". Last December, the school sent me to Peking University to participate in the national training study. The professors of Peking University are very knowledgeable, but also modest and introverted, gentle and elegant, the first line of Beijing's famous teachers are very good, but also particularly good learning, with the study of the teachers are knowledgeable, multi-talented.

I was most impressed by Mr. Zhao Guohua from Guizhou, who started from the same place as me, both from the countryside, and both graduated from teacher training. The difference is that I am still an ordinary teacher, while he has grown into a national master teacher through continuous learning. He has accomplished a lot of children and families, and I admire him for his great love of giving and his ability to turn stones into gold, and I want to be like him.

Beijing's quality education is doing particularly well, and students are developing holistically. The slogan at the entrance of Beijing's One and One Middle School, "Walk into One and One, and be happy for the rest of your life," is still fresh in my mind, and Mr. Wang Lipeng has recommended that we read "Learning by Deliberate Means". I read "The Miracle of Classroom No. 56". I would love to use it in my work and make a breakthrough, but I still can't get the hang of it.

Motivated by my role model, I started writing daily essays on the platform from the beginning of my national training study, in small stages of 100 days, with a progressive word count from at least 100 words a day to at least 300 words a day today.

Reflecting on this period, embarked on the workplace, should begin to read the precise period, but I have read a lot of books only stay in the romantic period of sensual reading, their own ontological knowledge is seriously lacking, the classroom can only teach students some shallow knowledge, can not dig out the knowledge of the intrinsic charm, the loss of the language as a whole of the vitality and the spiritual temperament. Just a deep understanding of psychology and anthropology courses and books, expanding the width of the reading pyramid, the next step is to continue the construction of the width, but also to read specialized books, to complete the construction of the height of the pyramid.

During the winter vacation, a chance, I saw "Zhenxi teahouse" public number in the new education network teacher training college enrollment announcement, especially excited, my size is the same, and have the opportunity to listen to the admired Li Zhenxi teacher's class, which is too good! I want to learn, I want to grow, I want to arrive at excellence from the ordinary, to live a happy and complete educational life!

So I couldn't wait to submit my reading history and finally waited for the good news of acceptance. I know that the new network teacher's study is particularly difficult, so I preferred the "Developmental Psychology" course, thinking that I have a background, should not be a problem, after half a year of hard work, and finally achieved good results.

This semester, I originally wanted to take the relatively easy "Positive Psychology in Education", and then because the course made adjustments, all changed to a general education course, the collective remedial courses, laying the foundation for reading.

I began to read the study materials over and over again, and read the related book "Teachers Reading Map" in one breath. Many of the books recommended in the book I have not read, which is exactly what I need to add the most knowledge at present. I really want to buy all the books back to read, but then think of Hao Dean's advice, buy may not have the time to read, read may not understand, from the content of the learning materials, one by one to read the relevant books!

The new webmaster has pointed out the direction for me, and is the most suitable home for my professional growth. In the future, I will follow closely, read the classics, open the precise period of intellectual reading, and climb the Everest of education with like-minded friends, and live a happy and complete educational life!
