Brief introduction of Taiwan Province sugar
Taiwan Sugar Company, referred to as Taiwan Sugar (translated into English), is one of the largest agricultural enterprises in Taiwan Province Province. Founded in 1946, Taiwan Sugar Company was formed by the merger of the National Government and all sugar companies in the Japanese occupation era (Japanese Sugar Company, Taiwan Province Sugar Company, Meiji Sugar Company and Salt Water Port Sugar Company). In 1950s and 1960s, Taiwan Sugar became the largest enterprise in Taiwan Province Province at that time because it exported a large number of sugar products. Taiwan Sugar is still the largest landlord in Taiwan Province Province, with land (mainly farms) all over Taiwan Province.
