What are the screws on Cartier screw rings and bracelets? What are the models of CNC machine tools? Where can I buy them? How much is it?
1? Tools and materials
If you don't have it at hand, go and get the tools below. Some of them, such as round-nosed pliers, are mainly special tools for jewelry, and some hardware stores also sell them.
● Anvil or calibration platform (a large piece of smooth solid metal)
Low hammer, smooth surface.
● Wire cutters
● Nylon head pliers (or ordinary pliers, the jaws are wrapped with several layers of adhesive tape to ensure smooth surface).
● Round-nosed pliers (needle pliers with jaws can also be used)
●2 pairs of needle pliers
● Ruler
● Flower tape
● Metal file
● polishing cloth
There is also a little thing called "quick clip" sold by the hardware store.

A coil of 20ga copper wire
A roll of 18ga copper wire
2? Cut and straighten copper wire
First, cut a 24-inch long 18ga copper wire. Wipe it clean, straighten it, and then cut it into 5-inch long sections. Finally, there will be a 4-inch-long section left.
Knock the 5-inch-long part flat with an anvil and hammer. The straighter the better. After knocking, the length will increase by about 1/4 inches, with some radians. All you have to do is straighten the arc with nylon pliers. Use a polishing cloth and a file to polish each copper wire. Then put it aside.
Fold the 4-inch copper wire in half and tap lightly. This doesn't need to be as flat as the others. Polished and put aside.
3? Manufacturing external torsion thread
Cut 18 inch long 20ga copper wire, including brass and copper. Wipe it clean, straighten it, and then screw it together with needle pliers. Put it aside.
4? Braid the middle braid
This is the most complicated step. You need to read it several times.
The first photo.
Cut four lengths of brass wire and copper wire with a length of 10 inch. Wipe clean and straighten separately. Tie them into a straight line, one end is separated by patterned tape and the other end is separated by brass and copper. It may not be particularly neat, but it doesn't matter. Just try to be neat.
The second photo.
Clip in the position where the adhesive tape is bonded. Bend the copper wire one by one in different directions (one brass and one copper). One group faces forward and the other group faces backward.
The third photo.
Bend and cross a pair of copper wires on the right to the left. Pay attention to the arrangement of copper wires.
The fourth photo.
Bend the remaining three pairs of copper wires in opposite directions and press them on the spanned copper wires.
The fifth photo.
The copper wire that bends and crosses is the rightmost pair at first, and now it is the leftmost pair, parallel to the second pair.
The sixth photo.
Loosen the clip very carefully and put down the copper wires so that they are just at the edge of the clip. This will clip the first braid. Then clip the clip back. Repeat these steps until all copper wires are woven. Clamp, knit, loosen, put down, clamp again and try again. If you want to put down your copper money for a while and do something else, you should write down which side is positive, so that you won't make mistakes when you start over. If the knitting direction is reversed, it is wrong. )
The seventh photo.
When you are knitting, let the copper wire protrude from the right side of the clip at a certain angle. I can't knit any more. You can take this braid off the clip and straighten it with nylon pliers. You can also gently flatten the tangled part with a hammer. Trim both ends, leaving 6 inches of braided copper wire. If necessary, the end of the copper wire can be polished smoothly, and the rough part can be polished flat.
I tried to make the photos look clearer. If you still don't understand and need a very detailed explanation, you can look at "WovenWireJewelry" written by LindaChandler. I basically extracted it from it. Many libraries have this book.
5? Make an envelope
Fold the twisted copper wire in half and put it on the braided copper wire.
Temporary fixation with patterned tape.
6? Tie the envelope to the braid.
Bend a hook on a 5-inch flat copper wire. Wrap it neatly at the end of the bracelet, fix the braided copper wire on the stranded wire, leaving a small ring as a hook. Make three or four turns, and then cut one end of the back of the flat copper wire flat.
You have to cut off about half of the flat copper wire, but the extra part is indispensable, otherwise you won't hold it tightly. )
Do the same for the other end at another location, and the distance between the two ends is about 1.5 inch. Grind rough places to make them bright.
Please note how the flat copper wire is wound around the envelope.
7? accomplish
Photo at the bottom left and top right: Trim the twisted copper wire to about 1/2 inches long. Wrap it tightly if necessary. Wrap them in two turns and stuff both ends into flat copper wire. You must ensure that the flat copper wire will not slip out. ...
Photo in the upper right corner: Bend the folded end of a 4-inch copper wire into a hook. At this point, measure the size of the shackle, and then trim the shackle to a suitable size so that the bracelet can fit your wrist after being buckled. Be patient when handling copper wire, so that the end of the hook won't stick to your hand-it's very close when it's almost finished.
Photo at the bottom left: Connect the hook to the twisted copper wire. Thread both ends into the two rings made in the first part of this step, and then roll both ends into the bracelet (just like a scroll).
Background: Find something that can be made into a round mandrel from the tools at hand, and carefully bend the bracelet into a shape suitable for the wrist. I use a PVC plastic pipe to tighten the curve on the side, and then I can easily put my hand into the curve. For some reason, the circle is actually not good. When hooking, you can try to pull the short side apart so that the two sides are symmetrical.
8? Appreciate your work
Now that you have spent two or three hours making this bracelet, it's time to sit back and enjoy your handmade work. You can also take some photos (you can use small stones as the background like me, or you can choose what you like).
Then you can make another one. I guess you are reluctant to give away the first one!
In order to keep the brass shiny, you can put some dry baking soda powder on it, then wipe it with an old dry toothbrush, rinse it with clear water and dry it. Using a toothbrush can make your bracelet shine like brushing your teeth.
