Introduction to traditional Chinese medicine psychology

Psychology of traditional Chinese medicine is a branch of traditional Chinese medicine, which follows the theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine, absorbs the "influence" of psychology, and highlights the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine thought, which is different from the new discipline of medical psychology. The theoretical basis of TCM psychology originated from Huangdi Neijing, and Treatise on Febrile Diseases written by Zhang Zhongjing at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty established a complete system for the prevention and treatment of mental diseases. Later, Sun Simiao, Zhang, Li Shizhen, Ye and other ancient physicians elaborated and applied it, which was handed down from generation to generation. Until today, the theory of "the mind governs the gods" is still used to explain complex psychological phenomena and treat physical and mental diseases. Psychology of traditional Chinese medicine has been identified by state administration of traditional chinese medicine as two disciplines of traditional Chinese medicine. At present, the graduate school of Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine holds the postgraduate course of TCM psychology for the first time, aiming at giving full play to the professional advantages of Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the field of TCM psychology and cultivating comprehensive talents with knowledge of TCM and psychology.
