Call for papers for the exhibition of "Promoting Traditional Culture and Inheriting Confucius Civilization" (the first invitation exhibition of famous paintings and calligraphy works of Confucius Civilization Cup)

I. Purpose of the activity:

The exhibition of paintings and calligraphy works by famous artists aims to carry forward the 5,000-year history of Chinese civilization, arouse the patriotic enthusiasm and fighting spirit of the people throughout the country, sublimate the artist's artistic taste and vision, and use wisdom to create works of the times that actively promote the revival of Chinese culture and art.

A healthy and elegant exhibition of works of art will be a gift to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), which is of great significance for promoting China's traditional culture, developing Confucianism, strengthening international exchanges, and promoting culture, art and building a harmonious society.

Contributors: domestic and foreign artists, calligraphers, members of artists' associations at all levels, painters in the Academy of Painting and university teachers can contribute. This activity is free of assessment fees, participation fees, editing and publishing fees, award-winning certificate fees and online publicity fees.

Requirements for participating in the project:

1. The works on display should be healthy and progressive in content, inherit tradition, pay attention to art, have innovative style, and the theme and style are not limited, both old and new works can be used.

2. The size of the exhibited works is not less than four feet of paper, and the horizontal and vertical dimensions are not limited.

3. The exhibited works are delivered by self-delivery, registered or express mail, and the works need not be mounted.

4. Please attach a note to the lower right corner of the back of the work, indicating the title, name, age, detailed address, zip code, contact number and artistic resume of about 300 words.

Invited works of intransitive verbs:

1. China Confucius Painting Academy invited100-120 famous works, and invited famous works did not participate in the awards.

2. All the exhibited works will be compiled into the exhibition collection, and each person will be given a copy.

3. The list of invited authors was published in China Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper.

VII. Awards, Bonuses and Certificates

1. There are three gold medals in the exhibition: two in the art category and one in the calligraphy category, with a bonus of 10,000 yuan each. 9 silver prizes: 6 for fine arts and 3 for calligraphy, with 6,000 yuan each. Twelve bronze prizes: nine for fine arts and three for calligraphy, with prizes of 3,000 yuan each. Some outstanding awards and a number of works were awarded.

2. After the initial evaluation and re-evaluation, about 300 works won gold, silver, bronze and merit awards.

3. All the entries will be awarded certificates, the winning entries will be awarded award certificates, and the selected entries will be awarded selection certificates.

4. The list of all winners and selected authors will be published in China Pictorial.

5. Any painter who won the Excellence Award can apply to join the Confucius Painting Academy in China first, and become a painter, academician and deputy secretary-general of the Confucius Painting Academy in China after approval.

Eight, publishing a collection of paintings

1. All exhibited works will be mounted, photographed, edited and published in the same way (to be published by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Press), and the works will be distributed to the whole country through Xinhua Bookstore.

2. All the selected, award-winning, contributors and exhibitors can purchase this set of famous paintings and calligraphy works at preferential prices.

Nine. Ownership of works

Limited to manpower, all submitted works will not be returned. The organizing committee also has the right to display, shoot, publish and publicize works online. All authors who send their works to participate in the evaluation and exhibition shall be deemed to have confirmed their compliance with the terms of this essay notice.
