What are the main properties of yarn?

1. Wear resistance: Wear resistance is related to yarn structure. Traditional ring spinning yarns are mostly spiral fibers. When repeatedly rubbed, the spiral fibers gradually become axial fibers, and the yarn is easy to lose twist and disintegrate, which leads to rapid wear and poor wear resistance.

2. Twist potential: Twist potential is also an important characteristic of yarn, which determines some characteristics of fabric, such as the ramp of knitted fabric. Traditional ring yarn and compact yarn are true twisted yarns, which have great twisting potential and are easy to produce oblique diameter and curl of knitted fabrics.

3. Strength: The strength of yarn depends on the cohesion and friction between fibers. If the shape and arrangement of fibers are not good, that is, there are fibers such as bending, looping, folding and winding, which is equivalent to shortening the fiber length and weakening the contact degree of fibers, so it is easy to slip between fibers and reduce the yarn strength.
