What is the "picture book" that adults often say?

Comic books are called comic books, which are a traditional art form in China. The earliest comic book is the story painting of the Western Han Dynasty unearthed in Mawangdui, Changsha. By the end of the Qing Dynasty, with the appearance of lithographs, the art of comic books had matured. During 1929, cartoons "spoke" on the screen under the influence of audio movies. After 1932, comic books flourished, and famous artists such as Zhu Runzhai and Zhou appeared.

After 1949, the development of comic books reached a climax. At this time, most of the picture books were national events such as land reform, patriotism, increasing production, resisting US aggression and aiding Korea, publicizing the Constitution, marriage law and so on. The golden age of comic books was in the fifties and sixties. During this period, colorful comic strips emerged one after another, and the comic strip circle was called "Four Famous Paintings in Denmark" (Shen Manyun, Zhao Hongben, Qian Xiaodai and Chen Guangyi), "Four Small Famous Paintings in Denmark" (Zhao Sandao, Bi Ruhua, Yan Meihua and Xu Hongda) and "Looking South at Liu Bei" (Gu Bingxin and Liu Jiyou). Liu Danzhai's Qu Yuan is simple, dignified and vigorous. Wang Hongli's fifteen passes is full of reality and fantasy; Ding Binzeng and Han Heping's Flying Tigers are magnificent and fascinating. Yang Yilin's Song of Youth is unique. The deaf-mute painter Yi Jin's How Steel was Tempered is vivid and inspiring. He Youzhi's long comic book Great Changes in Rural Areas of Western Hunan is known as "an epoch-making work in the history of comic books in China".

From May 1966 to May 1969, the publication of comic books was almost blank. From 1970, the creation and publication of picture books reached a climax. "Chicken Hair Letter" and "Little Rider" are deeply loved by readers.

From the Cultural Revolution to the 1980s, the development of picture books entered its heyday. After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, in addition to modern materials such as "Man to Middle Age" and "Jiang Zhuying", many foreign masterpieces and chinese comic were welcomed. Books such as Mr. Dong Guo and Yang Jiajiang set publishing records.

Since the 1990s, the collection of picture books has gradually warmed up.
