Are the roses sold out there really roses?

Because, even the so-called roses sold outside nowadays are a cross between a moonflower and a rose, and are neither moonflower nor rose!

Traditionally, roses are very fragrant and showy, but the flowers are not so big, and the moonflower flowers are big, but not so fragrant, and the petals are not as nice as roses, so the method of hybridization is used to get the advantages of both, or to amplify the advantages of one type of the so-called roses sold by florists, which have big and beautiful flowers, but are not scented!

So, except for some roses of origin, the ones out there can basically be categorized as modern moonflowers!
