National Security Specialized (Academic Master's Degree, Specialized Code: 0302Z4)

This program cultivates specialists who have a high degree of political quality and awareness of national security, who possess professional knowledge of national security and who are capable of engaging in practical work and theoretical research on various aspects of national security. Students are required to have basic knowledge and literacy in public **** management, political science, international politics, Sino-foreign relations, Chinese politics, modern Chinese history, etc., with a firm stance, good conduct, strong logical thinking and Chinese and foreign language expression ability, systematic mastery of the basic theoretical knowledge and methodology of national security, and strong ability in national security analysis and governance.

Graduates of this program are capable of performing various practical security work and countermeasure research in party and government organs and practical departments of national security, public ****security, diplomacy and foreign affairs, confidentiality and defense, military and national defense, and are also capable of engaging in security countermeasure formulation, consulting and research work in nontraditional security fields such as economy and finance, culture and education, science and technology information, ecological and environmental protection, and overseas expansion. The program lasts for two years and is awarded the degree of Master of Laws (LLM).
