How and where to add photoshop shading?

There are many ways to add shading in PS, which can be added in image-canvas size, or a new layer can be created as shading.

Specific operation:

Image canvas resizing method.

1, open photoshop and create a new blank canvas.

2. Select the image-canvas size, with an extended background color at the bottom. Select the extended color to add different shading to the canvas.

Second, add layer method

1, open PS, create a new canvas and create a new layer.

2. Use the background layer as the shading layer, select the Adjust Layer button in the lower right corner of the layer panel, and select the pattern in the pop-up panel.

3. Choose your favorite pattern as shading, and you can adjust the opacity of shading on the layer panel.
