What does abc mean?

Automobile grade abc refers to the classification of automobile grades.

A-class cars are compact cars. Their engine displacement is between 1.3L- 1.6L, and the wheelbase is between 2.3 and 2.45m. Cars like Volkswagen LaVida and Nissan Sylphy are typical A-class cars.

B-class cars are usually called medium-sized cars, with a displacement of 1.6 to 2.4L and a wheelbase 2.45 to 2.6m higher than that of A-class cars. Mercedes benz c, Audi A4 and Honda Accord are all typical B-class cars.

C-class cars, also known as medium and large cars, have a displacement of 2.3 to 3.0L and a wheelbase of 2.6 to 2.8m Compared with previous A-class and B-class cars, the biggest difference of C-class cars is their long wheelbase and large displacement. The most common ones are BMW 5 Series, Audi A6 and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which are generally more expensive.

Why should cars be graded?

The grades of cars were originally divided by Germans in order to standardize the manufacture of cars. The grade of a car is divided according to the wheelbase, engine displacement and body weight. One * * * is divided into four grades of ABCD, and now it is divided into more details.

Although cars are divided into four grades: A, B, C and D, how to divide them varies from person to person. Although some cars belong to B-class cars, their displacement or wheelbase has reached the standard of C-class cars. At this time, some people will classify them as C-class cars.
