What choices should we make in the face of various elective courses? On the basis of fully absorbing the advantages of foreign elective courses and summarizing the experience of elective courses in China, this senior high school curriculum reform has designed the content and structure of elective courses (including compulsory courses) completely, which has the following five characteristics. In order to ensure the implementation of elective courses, this high school elective course (including compulsory courses) adopts the credit system, that is, students must achieve 22 credits for elective series I (that is, subject elective), at least 6 credits for elective series 1 1 (an elective course independently set by the school), plus compulsory courses1/6 credits, with a total credit of 65. Otherwise you can't graduate. On the surface, this provision is mandatory, but it provides a practical system guarantee for the implementation of elective courses, avoiding the problems of elective courses being a mere formality and ineffective implementation.
