Do minorities celebrate Chinese New Year?

Bai, Buyi, Korean, Hani, Hezhe, Miao, Mongolian, Yi, Zhuang, Tibetan and other ethnic minorities celebrate the Spring Festival. The Spring Festival customs of the ethnic minorities also have unique characteristics.

The Bai people start to worship each other and give gifts from New Year's Eve, and they also keep vigil on New Year's Eve; the Korean people put up spring couplets and make various kinds of meals during the Spring Festival, and the whole family keeps vigil on New Year's Eve, which lasts all night; and the Yi people dance the dance called "A Tiny Jumping to the Moon" during the Spring Festival.
