Why can't Hanfu in China be as popular as kimono in Japan? Why did it disappear?

When the Manchu entered the customs, in order to control the Han nationality, a bloody suppression was carried out for more than forty years. Does anyone know how many of our ancestors were trampled to death by Manchu soldiers to protect Hanfu and keep their hair? When we saw the 20 15 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, the other 55 ethnic groups all had their own traditional costumes, while our Han representatives wore improved cheongsam, our feelings really could not be expressed in words. There are also many Hanfu fans who were stripped naked and asked to burn during the tense period of Sino-Japanese relations.

Indeed, society is progressing and the times are developing. Maybe Hanfu has not adapted to the present society, but it was left by our ancestors and should be abandoned? Our tunic suit was improved from Japanese clothes, and the cheongsam was left over from the Qing Dynasty. Needless to say, the suits and dresses we wear now are also available in other countries.

So, where is the pride of our Han costumes? I'm not asking everyone to wear Hanfu, nor am I saying that Hanfu is exclusive. But those things can represent the cultural treasures of our Han nationality, and should not be forgotten, abandoned or ridiculed like this.
