Bury children alive to exorcise demons

This incredible "buried alive" ceremony has been going on in the Indian village of Perahur for 57 years. The children who participated in this sacrificial ceremony lost consciousness first, then were put into a temporary grave prepared in advance, completely buried with soil for 60 seconds, and then dug up. It is said that this is a local traditional religious custom, and the purpose of doing this is to worship two goddesses who can exorcise demons. In order to realize their wishes as soon as possible, those villagers scrambled to bury their children alive. According to local customs, the buried girl must be a girl before puberty, and the boy is not forced to attend this ceremony. All children are from 4 to 20 years old. Surprisingly, during the whole process of the "buried alive" ceremony, the parents of the buried children and the provincial government officials also watched "calmly". Du Lei Raj, an amiable housing and urban development official, calmly watched everything in front of him. The guest of honor of the sacrificial ceremony told reporters, "I am invited by the organizing committee of this activity to attend this ceremony, and I have nothing else to say."
