Superman is a fictional character in a graphic novel published by DC Comics, which has since appeared in several films.In 1974, father and son Ilya Serkind, Alexander Serkind and Pierre Spangler purchased a copy of Superman for sale. Panle purchased the rights to adapt Superman into a movie. The script was rewritten several times before Richard Donner was given the opportunity to direct Superman and Superman II, which were filmed together.
