Foreigners have no habit of taking a nap. What caused the tradition of taking a nap in China?

Taking a nap is a common thing in China. Most people in China think that a short lunch break can make us energetic in the afternoon. Therefore, children, the elderly and office workers all have the habit of taking a lunch break. But in the eyes of foreigners, lunch break is an incredible thing, mainly for the following three reasons.

1.? Different habits

Compared with foreign countries, China's education system is stricter, and students undertake heavier learning tasks. In China, children of any school age are premature, which leads to lack of sleep every day, so they need to take a lunch break to make up for the lack of sleep. However, foreign schools go to school late and finish school early, which will not leave enough lunch break for students.

2.? Dietary differences

Foreigners often drink coffee, which occupies a large proportion in foreigners' lives. Caffeine contained in coffee can play a refreshing role. So foreigners may be relatively more energetic. Unlike China, our favorite drinks are mostly milk powder and milk tea. Therefore, we need to take a nap to refresh ourselves.

3.? Different cultures

It is impolite for foreigners to sleep in public places. They believe that when a person sleeps in public, the people around him are placed in an unwritten moral rule of "being responsible for this". But China didn't pay that much attention. After all, he was tired and sleepy, and had a rest, which had no effect on others.

People in different countries have their own different cultural customs and living habits, so we don't need to compare with others, as long as this lifestyle suits us and is healthy.
