Why is riding motorcycle more fuel-efficient than pedal motorcycle?

The scooter has a stepless speed change system, part of which is converted into friction heat energy, so the fuel consumption is high.

stepless speed change system refers to:

(1) a speed change system that can continuously obtain any transmission ratio within the speed change range.

(2) There is no gear transmission structure in the traditional gearbox, but it is driven by two transmission wheels with variable diameters and a transmission belt in the middle.

(3) The basic principle is that both ends of the transmission belt are wound around a conical pulley, and the outer diameter of the pulley changes infinitely depending on the oil pressure. When starting, the diameter of the driving pulley becomes the maximum diameter, while the diameter of the driven pulley becomes the minimum, achieving a higher transmission ratio. With the increase of vehicle speed and the change of signals of various sensors, the computer control system determines the control oil pressure of the two pulleys, and finally changes the continuous change of pulley diameter, so as to achieve stepless speed change in the whole speed change process.
