General situation of Heilongjiang reclamation area

Heilongjiang Reclamation Area is located in the economic center of Northeast Asia, at the foot of Xiaoxing 'anling Mountain, Songnen Plain and Sanjiang Plain in Northeast China, and it is one of the three famous black soil belts in the world. With a total area of 56,200 square kilometers, 43.2 million mu of cultivated land, 0.3 million mu of woodland/kloc, 5.27 million mu of grassland and 3.78 million mu of water surface, it is a national ecological demonstration area. After the hard struggle of three generations of northern wilderness people, Heilongjiang reclamation area has developed into a national important commodity grain base and grain strategic reserve base with the largest cultivated land area, the highest degree of modernization and the strongest comprehensive production capacity. The reclamation area has produced a total of 570.64 billion Jin of grain and sold 445.22 billion Jin of commercial grain to the country, which has made positive contributions to ensuring national food security, food security and ecological security.
