Techniques and methods of chick hatching

Techniques and methods of hatching chickens;

1. Selection and disinfection of eggs

1. Breeding eggs should be fertilized eggs, and it is appropriate to choose breeding eggs that are kept within 7 days. The longer the storage time, the lower the hatching rate.

2. After selecting the hatching eggs, disinfect the incubator first, and then put the hatching eggs head up on the egg tray for disinfection. Generally, potassium permanganate and formaldehyde can be used for fumigation and disinfection according to the ratio of 1: 2. Note: In order to enhance the disinfection effect, the incubator can be heated to above 20℃ before disinfection.

Second, temperature and humidity.

1, temperature

(1) constant temperature incubation method

The temperature is always controlled at 37.8℃.

(2) Variable temperature incubation method

The principle of incubation is "high, medium and low before", that is, 1-6 days at 38.5℃, 4- 16 days at 37.8℃ and 17-20 days at 37.6℃.

(3) Attention

When the room temperature is lower than 15℃, the incubation temperature should be set according to the actual temperature in the incubation room.

2. Humidity

The principle of incubation humidity is "high in the front, average in the middle and higher in the back", that is, the humidity in 1-7 days is 60-65%, in 8- 18 days is 50-55%, and in 19-2 1 day is 65-70%.

Third, ventilation and egg turning.

1, ventilation

(1) Generally, the carbon dioxide content in the air around the embryo egg should not exceed 0.5%, and the death rate will increase if the carbon dioxide content exceeds 1%.

(2) General incubators will have their own ventilation procedures when they leave the factory. Usually, every 0.5 hours, the ventilator will automatically ventilate for 25 seconds to provide sufficient oxygen for the embryo.

Step 2 turn the egg

Generally, on the second day 1 day of hatching, you only need to turn the eggs on the first day1-kloc-0/8, and turn the eggs every two hours1time at an angle of 45.

Fourth, dry eggs and take pictures of them.

1, egg drying

(1) Generally, eggs are baked at the same time as they are turned. If the incubation conditions are suitable, it is generally not necessary to dry the eggs.

(2) In summer, if the temperature is higher than 30℃ and the hatching eggs generate a lot of body heat after hatching to the middle stage, and the temperature in the incubator is high, it is generally necessary to dry the hatching eggs.

2. According to the eggs

(1) Breeding eggs need to be photographed three times during the incubation period. If it is a white egg, it is generally necessary to take the first photo on the fifth day. On the seventh day, brown eggs should be selected, and azoospermic eggs, blood ring eggs and dead sperm eggs should be picked out in time.

(2) The second election is 1 1 day and the third election is 18 day.

Fifth, meditation

1. When the hatching eggs hatch to 18 days, they will start pecking at the shells, and need to be moved to the hatching basket and hatched in the basket.

2. When most chickens are hatched, but some eggs are not hatched (there is a cry in the eggs), artificial midwifery is needed. You can knock on the eggshell by hand first. If you hear an empty sound, it means that the blood vessels have dried up. You can pull the chicken's head out during midwifery and let it hatch slowly.

3. If the chick is attached to the egg membrane, it can be soaked in warm water first and then peeled off gently. If it encounters blood, it needs to stop immediately.
