Analysis of Yao costume elements?

The representative costumes of Yao nationality in Hunan are Pingdi Yao, Guo Shanyao and Huayao Yao, which are closely related to the local folk culture, and the costume elements evolved from ancient totems. As an important intangible cultural resource in Hunan Province, Yao costume culture gradually disappeared in people's field of vision. With the changes of the times, Yao costume culture can no longer be fixed in the old thinking, and the rapid development of cultural and creative products is an opportunity for the development of Yao costume culture. Through the extraction and creative design of Yao costume elements, it can not only promote the development of Yao costume culture, but also promote the development of local economy. 1 The development background of Yao costume culture has a long history. The local personality and worship of ancient totems endow Yao costumes with unique elements. The traditional weaving and embroidery technology of Yao nationality has been developed and widely used in clothing. Weaving and embroidering retain extremely personalized characteristics and have strong national identification. Yao costumes are the intangible cultural heritage of the nation. Embroidery, embroidery and batik are the main ways to make costumes, and they are unique art forms in national art. We can't let these beautiful costumes exist only in history. It is our unshirkable responsibility to let Yao costume culture conform to the trend of the times and integrate unique costume elements into our lives in an innovative way. In such a cultural area with a long history, the beautiful Yao costumes cannot be confined to this area, but the design products in this area are far from showing individuality and connotation. Due to the increasingly close global ties, domestic cultural and creative products are deeply influenced by foreign countries, and traditional culture cannot bring freshness, so the development of traditional culture in China is slow. Through the extraction of Yao costume elements and the value analysis of spiritual culture, it is an important way to design and study the cultural and creative products of Yao costume elements at present. Starting from the traditional elements, combining Yao traditional costume culture with cultural products can promote the development of cultural and creative products with regional characteristics. Only by combining Yao costume elements with modern life can we explore the design method of transforming national culture into cultural creative products. 2. The present situation and design ideas of Yao cultural and creative products. Integrating the traditional national culture of China into modern design can not only promote the innovation of design, but also carry forward the traditional national culture. It is a good way to add Yao costume elements into the design of daily necessities in an innovative way. With the development of economy, cultural and creative products actively promote the economic development of China and play an important role in cultural communication. However, today's design is impacted by foreign cultures and blindly copied, failing to grasp the essentials suitable for the development of China's characteristic culture. Wenchuang products are one of the important ways to spread Yao costume culture. The distribution, size and style of patterns on Yao costumes reflect the Yao people's love for life. Different regions make Yao costumes have different characteristics. From the elements of Yao costumes, we can see the cultural charm of Yao and the lifestyle, totem and religious beliefs of local people. In Wang Pan Festival (as shown in figure 1), Yao people wearing traditional national costumes can be seen everywhere. Through this activity, more people can understand the customs and habits of Yao nationality and inherit the intangible cultural heritage. During the activity, the government distributed small gifts to everyone who participated in the activity. Most of these small gifts are common in the market, such as participation cards, umbrellas, yellow scarves and so on. These gifts have no local characteristics and the quality is uneven. Most people may throw it away on the spot, causing unnecessary waste. How to design creative products with local cultural characteristics is a problem that designers need to think about. In this respect, we can start with Yao costume elements and add them to Wenchuang products, so that buyers can see at a glance that this product is very cultural and can express local cultural characteristics well.
